ARRIVALS & ACCOMODATION
Arrivals
There will be a Conference Information Desk in the arrival hall of Terminal 2 at the Frederic Chopin Airport in Warsaw on Sunday, November 4.A VIP lounge at the Frederic Chopin Airport in Warsaw will be available for the ministers and the heads of delegations. The VIP lounge service will be provided upon submitting all necessary information regarding arrival and departure details, included in the Registration Form. The organizers kindly request the delegations to submit the completed Registration Forms in due time to facilitate the VIP arrangements.
The Frederic Chopin Airport (www.lotnisko-chopina.pl) is 10 km south west from the city centre. It consists of 3 terminals – Terminal 1, Terminal 2 (currently under construction) and Terminal Etiuda (for low-cost airlines). The time of journey from the airport to the city centre does not exceed 20-30 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
Transfers
From 4 November 2007 to 7 November 2007 the shuttle bus transfers will be provided for all participants of the Conference between the airport, the hotels listed in the Registration Form and various locations indicated in the Conference programme.
If your minister / head of delegation prefers a transfer arranged by the diplomatic mission in Warsaw, we kindly ask you to contact the embassy directly and inform the organizers accordingly.
The transfer arrangements are based on the information provided by the Registration Forms. Please make sure to notify Holiday Travel (Conference Bureau) on any changes as soon as they occur.
The exact schedule of bus transfers will be distributed to all participants at the time of check-in at respective hotels. Last minute changes will be announced at the information boards at the respective hotels and at the Conference registration desk at the Sheraton Hotel.
On Wednesday, November 7, the excursion will end at the Frederic Chopin Airport. Therefore, we kindly ask the participants planning to leave on November 7th to complete check-out in the morning and take the luggage to the buses. Bus transfer to hotels listed in the Registration Form for the participants extending their stay in Warsaw will be provided after the field trip. Please note that no shuttle bus transfers will be arranged after November 7th. In case of longer stay in Warsaw, the participants are responsible for their own arrangements, including transfer to the airport.
